About Your Mentor

My career has always centered on helping people live healthier, more fulfilling lives. I’ve seen firsthand the ripple effect that happens when someone makes lasting changes—how one person’s transformation can inspire and uplift those around them—and that belief has fueled my work for decades.

In 2016, I shifted my focus fully to health coaching, earning my NBC-HWC credential two years later. Since then, my passion has expanded beyond coaching clients to also training and mentoring the next generation of coaches. At the University of Portland and the Health and Wellness Coaching Academy, I’ve helped design and teach NBHWC-approved coach Training Programs. Over the past five years, I’ve guided hundreds of coaches as they grow their confidence, refine their skills, and prepare for board certification.

Alongside this work, I run a private practice dedicated to supporting established health coaches. Some come to me for guidance on navigating tricky client challenges, while others are eager to elevate their coaching skills. Whether through one-on-one mentoring or my NBHWC-approved CE course, I love helping coaches unlock new levels of effectiveness and authenticity in their practice.

I hold a Master’s in Integrative Health and Wellness from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and before stepping into coaching, I spent 14 years in Public Health as an environmental health and safety consultant. That background allows me to bring a strong foundation of science and systems-thinking into the art of coaching.

For me, coaching isn’t just a career—it’s a way to empower ripple effects of change that spread far wider than we ever imagine.
